I worked with Shema on the “Obra Cadabra” plan (now the Complete Self-Publishing Package) to publish my first novel, La noche del eclipse, and it was a great experience.

From the start, I knew that even though it was a self-published novel, I wanted a truly professional publishing finish. I didn’t want a generic layout or a basic cover. I wanted the book to have its own personality and to be carefully crafted down to the last detail.

Shema understood that idea perfectly from day one. Both the cover and the interior layout were beautifully crafted and completely in tune with the tone and identity of the novel.

I also want to highlight the support throughout the whole process: answering questions, suggesting solutions, and helping me make decisions at every stage.

Communication was always friendly, fast, and professional, and you can tell there’s a genuine commitment to getting the best possible result.

In my case, I asked for several versions of the book: paperback, hardcover, and Kindle for Amazon, plus an edition with flaps for offset printing. The final result is exactly what I was looking for: self-published, yes, but with a look and finish that don’t feel like it.
